GCC’s First Smart Vehicle Testing Center Opens in RAK Fully Automated in Just 6 Minutes
Al Ghurair Motors, in collaboration with the General Resources Authority (GRA) of Ras Al Khaimah, has inaugurated the GCC’s first fully automated smart vehicle testing center in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK).

Located in the Al Qussaidat area of RAK, this state-of-the-art facility introduces a groundbreaking ‘Test & Go‘ system. This innovative approach allows drivers to independently test their vehicles using advanced smart machines, significantly reducing the time required for inspections.
Traditionally, vehicle testing in the region could take up to 12 minutes. However, with the automation and cutting-edge technology implemented at this center, the process now takes just six minutes. This efficiency not only saves time for vehicle owners but also streamlines the overall testing procedure.
Advanced Features and Capacity
Spanning an impressive 1,386 square meters, the facility is equipped with four dedicated testing lanes. These lanes are designed to handle between 500 to 600 vehicle tests daily, ensuring that a large number of vehicles can be serviced promptly.
The center employs fully automated systems for undercarriage and tire inspections, eliminating the need for human intervention while maintaining high precision and accuracy. Additionally, the integration of digital process management through tablets and automated entry systems further enhances operational efficiency and customer convenience.
