Icons of Porsche 2025 Breaks Records in Dubai
Dubai just wrapped up one of the biggest automotive celebrations the region has ever seen. Icons of Porsche 2025 officially became the Middle East’s largest Porsche festival, pulling in massive crowds, global premieres, and some of the rarest machines ever displayed in one place.
With over 30,000 visitors, a fully sold-out weekend, and more than 1,000 Porsche sports cars showcased across 58,000 square metres at Dubai Design District, the event turned the city into the centre of the Porsche world.
At Drive UAE, we always keep you updated with the most exciting automotive moments across the Emirates, and this year’s Icons of Porsche deserves its spotlight.
A Festival That Set New Records
For the second year in a row, the festival sold out before the gates even opened. Car enthusiasts, collectors, and Porsche lovers flew in from every corner of the world. More than 50 Porsche clubs joined the celebration, alongside media from 30+ countries, proving just how global the event has become.
Dr. Manfred Braeunl, CEO of Porsche Middle East and Africa, called the festival the “best one yet.” The presence of Dr. Oliver Blume, Porsche AG Chairman, and Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed added even more prestige to the event.

Top Cars That Stole the Show
From iconic classics to cutting-edge performance models, the lineup this year was something fans will remember for a lifetime. Here are the top highlights:
1. Porsche 963 RSP: A symbol of Porsche’s modern motorsport power, sleek, aggressive, and born for endurance racing.
2. RM Sotheby’s 911 Turbo: A rare masterpiece that drew constant attention from collectors.
3. The Legendary Carrera GT Collection: Sixteen Carrera GTs gathered in one place, a once-in-a-generation sight.
4. New 911 Turbo S Premiere: Region-first showcase of Porsche’s flagship performance model.
5. New Cayenne Electric: Making its global physical debut, the fully electric Cayenne revealed its futuristic design and off-road-ready capability after completing rigorous desert testing.

Major Global Premieres & First Appearances
This year was all about innovation. Porsche unveiled several key models:

- Regional debut of the new 911 Turbo S
- Macan Gems Collection entering the UAE market for the first time
The energy around these launches showed how strongly the Middle East contributes to Porsche’s global automotive culture.

Sonderwunsch: Where Porsche Meets Personalisation
The festival highlighted two major Sonderwunsch bespoke projects, proving how far Porsche can go with customisation:
Panamera Turbo Sonderwunsch
A bold two-tone fade, rare metallic paints, and a luxury interior featuring an illuminated sparkling wine cooler and custom humidor.
Factory Re-Commission Cayenne (First Ever)
A 2009 Cayenne GTS restored and redesigned into a 1970s-style desert explorer, complete with a towbar built for a classic Airstream caravan.
These projects turned heads and showed fans what true Porsche personalisation looks like.

Where Art Meets Automotive Passion
A major collaboration with renowned artist Kasing Lung added a fresh creative spark to the festival.
Fans saw:
- “King Mon in Porsche 911 Targa,” a collectible metal sculpture limited to 60 units
- A life-size Labubu inside a custom Porsche 911 Targa Art Car
Porsche continues to prove that design, creativity, and culture are deeply woven into its brand identity.
